Conscious Awakening for Mature and Responsible Adults
Religion is a modern day word to describe the antidote applied to fill a particular void that plagues most people of the humankind variety. Human or human-like individuals tend to be relatively fragile beings (body wise), and regardless of how satisfying life seems to be, eventually each individual senses some kind of void within that cannot be described, seems to be deeper than simply mood-type depression, and cannot be justified. Interestingly it seems to be inextricably linked to another aspect, not just of humankind, but most if not all animals on this planet – the will to survive, or at least to have continuity of ones’ kind.
Religion – Definition and Etymology
Monastic – short for mono, Mono – one
Religion derives from the Latin word religare which means ‘to bind’. Religion amounts to re-legion-ing- which is to come together in an order ‘legion’ – to bind life to one belief or belief system; essentially one belief.
One of the laws of Thermodynamics is that an object in motion tends to stay in motion, and an object at rest tends to stay at rest. This Law seems to be universal and it seems that successfully violating this Law would amount to creating a supernatural or other than normatively natural effect. Therefore, it is entirely possible – shallow as it may seem – that this Law of Thermodynamics is sufficient to explain this aspect – this will to survive, but it does not explain the source of the void detected within. To address this void, which seems to be very highly undesired for most if not all human-like individuals, Order is sought. This Order sought must be justified by a belief system – a set of perspectives that seem to explain in some way, the Origin of all that is, and how, and why, the individual then exists in all of this reality. It is a search not just for Purpose, but the Justification of that Purpose. The proposed Answer to this Search and a set of rules that seem to emanate from that Answer amount to being that Belief System that formulates one’s way of coming together, or otherwise one’s Religion.
Scientology – One of the newest distinguishable religious belief systems.
Scientologists are not Christians. Scientologists believe in the existence of Thetans. Thetans are considered to be immortal. They hold that
Thetans are the Creators of all that exist. Your body is a vehicle and you are a Thetan with a bad case of amnesia. If you understand what it takes for Hollywood actors to ‘get into character’ then it makes perfect sense why so many of them adhere to this belief system.

How else will they find their original personalities back? This is what they do when they go to the Scientology churches – try to find themselves back; try to get out of character – the character they got into in order to play the parts they do under the Meinser technique. Without getting back out of character, these people have no idea who they really are. The Scientology guild appears to charge them quite a bit of money for the therapy.
Egyptian Religions – And the Heresy of Monotheism
The Egyptians practiced polytheism. It seems they tried to document nature. They believed that the creators of the universe were a combination of original creators as well as some ancestors. Sometime between 1350 and 1340 BC Amenhotep IV ruled Egypt. He believed in monotheism and changed his name to Akhenaten (alluding to ‘one with God’). His legacy was declared heresy by his son, and the official records of Egypt reflect that the kingdom changed hands from Amenhotep III to Amenhotep V.1 Judeo-Christianity has its roots in Akenhaten’s beliefs.
Thelema – The Religion of ‘Will’
Between WWI and the Great Depression another new religious framework entered the fray with the maxim “Do what thou wilt”. It was introduced by Aliester Crowley who was for all practical purposes, a sex deviant, and pedophile. He also became a 33rd degree Mason. Crowley died in 1937. Thelema is a word formed from the Greek interpretation of ‘will’ and connotes to the desire of the Will. Crowley developed this religion after 1) having a same sex encounter, 2) contacting syphillis, and 3) getting so sick a year later that he concluded the “human endeavor” was “futile”. According to Jeetendr Sehdev, in his book, The Kim Kardashian Principle – Why Shameless Sells (and How to Do It Right), “…Crowley was driven by Eastern meditational practices, which believed that conscious focus on physical action could stimulate an enlightened state…By channeling your energy and desire during sex, an orgasm could become a catalyst for making your dreams come true.”2
A follower of Thelema is encouraged to do what that follower intends to do, and that such follower is judged only according to the degree to which that follower follows through on what that follower intends to do. Love of the Self is highly praised and the fulfillment of yourself is according to your own intents or wants (or lusts) is what truly matters.
These three points of view: Ancient Egyptian Polytheism, Monotheism, and New Age type Polytheism amount to the three major points of views that all religions seem to fall into. The chart below shows the correlations with them.
The takeaway from this correlating chart is glaring.
Those who follow a belief system of ancient polytheism where others create them but there is no cohesion of the creative Authority to one conscious being are subject to becoming slaves and being dominated by others. Relative to the search to fill the Void within, its best path to fulfillment may be by absolute enslavement by others and an acceptance that one is doomed to eternal destruction and non-existence at best.
Conversely, those who follow a belief system of New Age polytheism where they themselves are their own creators, end up following a path where they are subject, and also subject others to unwarranted and intense exploitation by others who truly have no faith left in the Order of the Human Existence. Relative to the search to fill the Void within, its best path is through escapist tactics to avoid feelings related to the true Life Experience and an acceptance that the only true out for the Self is to disavow the Human Form – a path that if successful, can lead to the end of intelligent carbon-footprint life on earth. Those who follow a belief system of monotheism led by a Conscious and Living God other than themselves end up following a path in pursuit of knowledge ordered on systematic logical paths of rationalization, and live in ordered societies following the rule of law in preservation of human dignity. Relative to the search to fill the Void within, its best path to fulfillment is insufficient so far to resolve the plaguing issue of the fragility of the human condition. Nevertheless, in the most trying times there is always Someone Else for the individual to reach out to even seemingly at the moment of death.
Natural Law and Religion
We all know that most people who are in their right mind or sorts would not willingly accept being forever dominated by another person, so the ancient orders of polytheism do not appear to be the right path to follow to address the Void issue. Also, given the definition of Religion as explained above, that of being – to bind life to one belief or belief system; essentially one belief, It also seems unlikely that the premise of violative sexual conduct, especially with human children, or arguments for any human to die off so that other forms of seemingly intelligent life should live can ever be reasonable be used to construct a valid Belief System for the purpose of obtaining a fulfilling life, much less preserving it. All things being equal then, it appears that both the ancient form and new age form of polytheism violate that Law of Thermodynamics mentioned above.
Nevertheless, in the world today as you walk down any street, each person that you see can be classified into one of these three groups: either believing that a Conscious Living God Created everything, or that a collection of gods, some living, some now dead, or some ancestral, created everything, or that each of us created ourselves. The first group is monotheistic and may in some way respect such writs as the Magna Carta, the Preamle of the U.S. Constitution, as well as the Bill of Rights, or the idea that an Eternal Father is able to Bless their Lands and grant them knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Such person will most likely respect humanity. People from the other two groups however may not respect these things, and along with it, your rights, your privacy, heterosexuality, the idea of countries, or your right as a human being to be in loving relationships that build natural families with natural children who grow up respecting their parents, and holding something call Property. That latter group are not your fellow citizens unless you are a citizen of the Fagpire. Written by Radcliffe B. Lewis, Correspondent.
